CHOICES 1 - The Battle

  THE BATTLE  A wise man once said Life is not a fun fair but a warfare, a popular Chinese actress once said that this life is for the brave.  E veryday of our lives we are faced with different challenges, obstacles, happenings that want to sway us way from our God given purpose and dream. God's word says  "the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. “We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ”.   Life is indeed a battlefield but this battle we're fighting everyday is not a physical battle.  The battle is Spiritual and the battle ground is your heart it's your spirit that is where the battle is taking place. Getting Things Done   Having trouble persuading yourself to do the things you should do or would like to do?  There's actually a popular saying "It's easier said than done" well that’s true actually and most of us have this raucous ability of sweeping things under the rug with the idea that we'll get to it "eventually".  This "thief of time" has actually done what it says and that is "steal time".  Procrastination means putting things off intentionally or habitually.  More opportunities make for more choices, the more choices there are, the harder it becomes to make a decision. The inability to make a decision is when "decision paralysis sets in" It's very easy to see the shortcomings of every decision you have chosen.  Do you know that feeling when you have something to do, but you just don't do it anyway?  Can you recall the last time you put off doing something important or making a decision?
