KEEP IN MIND  

• If you want to know the purpose of a thing NEVER ask the thing, ask the creator 

• Finding your purpose isn’t something that can be done in a few days, weeks or months. 

• It can be a lifelong journey, and it can only be done one step at a time. 

• You Are Special In Your Own Way, never try to live somebody else's life; never try to achieve another man's dream. 

• You are responsible for the outcome of every decision you make in life whether good or bad 

• Your life today is a product of the choices you made yesterday yesterday 

• There's a place for you in the world and it's your responsibility to find that place 

• Your existence and purpose is relevant to this generation and for this time. 

The success of a product is the fulfillment of the purpose for which it was made. 

 God NEVER made you to be a failure. 

No manufacturer ever manufactures a product for failure and it’s the same thing with God. 

PURPOSE CHECKERS 

• Check out your uniqueness and find out what differentiates you from the billions of people who inhabit this planet. 

• Then pursue your aspiration deliberately and consistently.

• Be what you are. 

• Capitalize on the natural skills and talents with which you were born, and don’t lose them. When others belittle your special gifts and try to remake you according to their plans and purposes, refuse to yield to their domination. 

• Don’t let anyone prevent you from becoming and doing all that you were born to be and do. 

HOW TO DISCOVER PURPOSE 

THE SPIRITUAL ASPECT 

1. THE CREATOR'S FACTOR 

If you want to know the purpose of a thing, never ask the thing - ask the creator. 

A created thing can never know what was in the mind of the creator when he planned and built it. 

God is the creator of the universe and he is your creator, therefore, he alone knows to what purpose and reason he created you. 

Purpose is only found in the mind of the creator. Therefore, if you want to know your purpose you must find out from your manufacturer (God) Only God knows the purpose for your life. How do you find out from him? 

• Ask In Prayer 

• Study His Word - Look into the mirror of God and discover yourself and your purpose in Him. It’s in the Word that you locate your God-given place in this life. 

• Listen To His Voice In Your Spirit 

To discover how to live with purpose we must return to God, who is the Author of purpose.  - Myles Munroe

Walk With God: A good walk with God will empower you to make the right choices in life. 

Spend quality time everyday in the presence of God, spend time serving him; get to know more about what he's like. Understand his true nature. Life has it storms but a man who "dwells in the secret place

God has no desire for Christians , but for sons and daughters who share His interests, perspectives and visions. 

THE YOU ASPECT 

SEARCH INWARD - Everything you need is within yourself. The only thing holding you back is your own limiting beliefs. 

With each limiting belief you identify and replace with an empowering belief, you develop greater self-awareness. And when you’re in control of your emotions, you’re in control of your life. 

YOUR MAKEUP - God created each and everyone of us with unique talents, gifts and abilities. These things are what makes out stand out among our peers. Find them out. Over time, these talents reveal themselves to the people around you and it is in your place to find to utilize them for the Kingdom of God 

For example: Everybody in the choir sings but there is a certain sister whose singing seems totally different from others; whenever she grabs the mic the entire auditorium is in fire - Watch it! That is a pointer to her assignment in life. 

Our talents and gifting are boosters to discovering our God given purpose 

ACTION - Once you've discovered or have a partial knowledge as to why God created you then you must begin to do it Every destiny has timing, a location and an audience. If God has called you into the ministry then there is a time for and an audience for you. If your purpose is to be a medical doctor, then there is a location and an audience for you.

THE PLACE OF LEARNING

Many people have embarked on the same road that God has asked you to take. Many have succeeded while many have failed. It is in your place to find out the reasons for the successes and failures. 

HOW? 

Read: There is a book about everything. No matter what God wants you to do, there are people in the past that have done it and succeeded. 

Study the biography of these individuals, read about their lives, study the paths they took, observe their errors, see the challenges they went through, take note of the steps they took to overcome those challenges. 

See how they became successful and relevant in their time and also see what they did to maintain that success.  

Weather you want to be a rapper, musician, professional field holder, public speaker, influencer, national personality, writer, dancer… whatever it is God has created you to do about it is a book or two. 

THE PLACE OF APPRENTICESHIP 

If I ever saw ahead, it is by standing on the shoulders of those that hatve gone beyond me You need to get a MENTOR. 

A mentor is someone who teaches or gives help and advice to a less experienced and often younger person. In an organizational setting, a mentor influences the personal and professional growth of a mentee. 

It's easier to think that you don't need help but it's harder to walk on your own 

You can have as many mentors as you want as long as you are willing to sit and learn at their feet. 

When you have a mentor you become an apprentice - someone who is learning a particular trade or skill for the purpose of improving themselves at that particular thing. 

It is a fact that over time with dedication, commitment and perseverance; apprentices can be greater than their mentors. This is a fact. 

You need someone to tell you which way to go, 

you need someone to encourage you when you're going the right way and whe

You need someone with answers to the many questions in your mind. 

A mentor who has gone through the same path as you will know what lie ahead and will tell you about it. 

A mentor isn't just a friend a mentor is a master Everyone who achieved greatness in purpose and destiny had mentors, so get a mentor and be an apprentice. 

THE PLACE OF VISION 

A life without vision is a life without light. You must see yourself somewhere in order to get there. Where do you see yourself in the next five years? What heights do you see yourself achieving in the near future? You cannot feature in a future that you cannot picture. 

Once you have a picture of a desired future in your mind you won't be distracted, your life will be aligned to fulfilling that purpose 

THE PERIL OF IGNORANCE

Ignorance! It is the most destructive force this world knows. It causes wars, poverty, fear, and worry. It also destroys the lives of millions of people. Deadlier than Satan or any force of evil, ignorance is the number one enemy of life. 

According to Webster, ignorance is “the quality or condition of little knowledge, education or experience; un-awareness.” 

When ignorance is used to describe our understanding of purpose, it means that we have little knowledge, education, or experience concerning the reason for our existence. We know neither the motive for God’s creating us nor the end toward which our existence leads. 

We are unaware of His plans and purposes for our lives, and our existence becomes a trial and error game. Such ignorance is dangerous because it permits the possibility that we will live all our lives and never know why we lived. 

Most of us are not completely ignorant of God’s purposes. 

Knowing something and comprehending it, however, are often two very different experiences. Although we may know the facts and the correct words, it is very possible that we have not yet grasped the significance for our lives of what we know. 

Too often, knowledge without understanding gives a false sense of security that prevents us from giving serious attention to the remaining steps in a process. 

The journey of living with purpose requires a lifelong relationship with God our Creator. 

Because we are the creatures and He is the Creator, we must go to Him to discover all we were meant to be. We need the closeness with God of knowing and being known

We have established that we have work to do before we find our purpose and even after we receive light on that area. 

Don't limit your life for God will only keep taking you from one realm of glory to another
